A technical record for the equipment
Existing platforms can continue to manage people, inventory, custody, billing, lending, and distribution. NUMOV adds the equipment-intelligence layer those workflows can link to.

Which piece of equipment is this?
Keep the organization’s asset number, serial number, custody context, and external-system reference attached to one durable record.

What is actually installed?
Represent the base, seating, controller, input device, batteries, charger, and other fitted parts as separate claims.

What supports each claim?
Attach the label, document, observation, source reference, recorder, date, and review state instead of presenting every field as equally certain.

What is still unresolved?
Keep unreadable labels, unknown software versions, and conflicting information visible. Unknown does not become empty, inferred, or cleared.

Which published references are relevant?
Connect recorded components to manufacturer documents and known notices when the available identity is specific enough to support the match.

How does the record travel?
Issue a read-only Passport and printable summary that can be opened from a QR code or linked from another system.

The host platform remains authoritative for inventory and organizational operations. NUMOV is authoritative only for the technical record it stores: the parts fitted, evidence, source references, review state, and record-based notice reasoning.
A URL and QR workflow exist today. A general external API does not yet.
